Ben Armstrong, PhD

Dr. Armstrong is a clinical psychologist, data scientist, and mental health technologist with over a decade of therapy experience. He specializes in adult ADHD and personality disorders, combining evidence-based care with cutting-edge AI and measurement tools in his private practice. Beyond clinical work, Dr. Armstrong helps organizations and startups bridge the gap between mental health science and scalable tech solutions. He brings deep expertise in measurement-based care, client-centered design, and systems thinking. His consulting work includes translating research into product strategy, streamlining development processes, and guiding early-stage mental health software ventures.

Currently, Dr. Armstrong is building AI-powered workflows for clinical  conceptualization, reporting, and client engagement - tools designed to enhance therapeutic precision and impact at scale.

Kathryn Bell, PhD
Registered Psychologist

Dr. Bell is a registered psychologist and Professor within the Psychology Department at Acadia University. With over two decades of clinical, teaching, supervision, and research experience in academic, private practice, and medical settings in the U.S. and Canada, Dr. Bell specializes in the delivery and training of others in evidence-based approaches to diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of adults struggling with mental health difficulties. Dr. Bell has published over 30 articles and delivered numerous presentations to local, national, and international audiences on topics related to trauma and interpersonal violence, mental health and addictions, relationships, evidence-based practice and progress monitoring, research ethics, and pseudoscience in clinical psychology. Her expertise has been highlighted in media appearances with CBC, CityNews Toronto, Saltwire Network, Inc., Salon.com, and FactCheck.org, including in a CBC radio interview in May 2025 on use of generative AI for mental health support.

Andrew Sherrill, PhD

Dr. Sherrill is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at Emory University School of Medicine. HIs clinical expertise is in the areas of exposure-based treatments for anxiety disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), working primarily with the military veteran patient population. Dr. Sherrill is also the training director of the Emory University Prolonged Exposure (PE) Consultant Training Program, which uses an intensive consultant-of-consultation model to develop and sustain a network of expert PE consultants and clinicians across North America. Dr. Sherrill regularly provides workshops for clinics aiming to integrate evidence-based practices and clinical technologies into their settings. Dr. Sherrill has an active, externally funded research program that aims to understand and develop innovative technologies (e.g., VR, AI, and mHealth) that may improve the acceptability, efficiency, scalability, and ethical use  of evidence-based exposure therapies.

Troy Bell, MSW, RSW

Mr. Bell is a clinical social worker currently practicing in Nova Scotia, Canada. Mr. Bell's clinical work has spanned both Canada and the U.S. and has focused on adolescents and young adults with complex behavioral health needs. While operating from a generalist perspective, Mr. Bell has worked extensively providing evidence-based assessment and treatment to youth who exhibit behavioral problems, delinquency, substance use, problem sexual behaviors, trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. He practices predominantly from a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) framework, while also incorporating some mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies. Mr. Bell has years of experience providing training, consultation, and clinical supervision to allied professionals on best practices in delivering mental health care for youth and young adults. Working across a variety of private and public organizations, Mr. Bell strives to implement the most relevant, science-based strategies to assist clients in reaching their therapeutic goals.
